Greetings，

I will be visiting Kyoto/Osaka the weekend of Sept 14-15 (from Seattle USA) and was wondering whether there are any caving groups or clubs around there or whether anybody would be interested in doing some caving then (or other outdoor activity such as rock climbing or canyoning). I am especially interested in vertical activity， whether underground or above ground. I have years of experience. I am leaving the USA for Japan this Thursday Sept 4 so hope to contact somebody before then， if possible. I will not have a car and do not speak Japanese.

Hello from fine Ukrainian city Ternopil， from speleoclub 撤odillja�! Our club is the oldies and more respectable speleoclub not only Ukraine， but former USSR. 撤odillya� was founded in 1960. Since those time our speleologists exploration biggest gypsum labyrinths of the world (because in our region there is a world痴 first districts of gypsum caves). Our best & beautiful cave � 釘lue Lakes� (it length about 120 km.)， in which there are a lot of deep， transparent blue lakes. In October 2006 speleoclub 撤odillja� organized jubilee 150 exspedition in 徹zerna� (another name of 釘lue Lakes�). In expedition we continue work in a perspective way to connect 徹zerna� and nearby cave 徹ptumistuchna� (the biggest gypsum cave in the world � length 220 km.).

We， young generation of Ternopil痴 speleologists， worthily continue traditions& initiatives out club. Among other things we tend to extend community of friends-speleologists.   We do the first unfamiliar expedition at an end of the year.
  In order that we might make the first expedition successful， the smallest possible structure was expected. It reaches quick action and an intention agreement easy.
  But， there are already 14 members. It is already large enough.
  Since our expedition style is not established especially， agreement of an intention is very important. We talked about your participation.
  The result of our discussion is impossible your this year.
  However， if you hope to go expeditions in next year， you will be able to participate. We are not going to make an expedition finish it as once.
